Who are we

We are a family run business that has been trading for over five years, born from a passion for Bonsai that started over 15 years ago.

Our nursery is situated near the village of Storrington at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex.

Whilst our stock is constantly moving, we usually have in excess of 500 Bonsai for sale, including raw material. Whilst we specialise in native British trees, much of our stock is imported from Japan, China & Korea.

We stock hundreds of tools, accessories & consumables needed to keep your Bonsai at their best & have a large stock of pots, including many English hand made pots from some of the finest Bonsai Potters in the UK.

All our trees are sold in healthy condition & unlike some Bonsai dealers we only sell trees that are well established in their pots.

Accuracy & Honesty

All the heights of our trees are measured above the pots, unless clearly stated otherwise. We have noticed recently that a few Bonsai dealers measure the trees including the pots, falsely adding up to & possibly in excess of 5" on to the height of the tree that you see advertised.

What You See Is What You Get - with the exception of some of our quality Indoor Bonsai range, the photo that you see of any Bonsai on our website is of the Bonsai that you will receive. Some Bonsai dealers post a standard photo of a tree & say that you will get something similar, which is often not the case.

Tools & Accessories - We only sell top quality Japanese tools & the cheaper Chinese tools. There are a number of Bonsai dealers selling "Professional" grade tools or tool ranges with some fancy Japanese motivated name, however these tend to be just better finished Chinese grade tools.

Shipping - You will often see statements such as "Free Shipping" on some website. There is no such thing. You will be paying for it somewhere & it is more than likely already included in the price of whatever you are buying, making it very unfair if you are going to collect that item from the supplier. We clearly state our shipping charges both before & during the checkout process, before you part with any cash. We try hard to keep our shipping charges to a minimum.
